UAE Embassy Attestation Procedure and documents required:
Educational Degree Attestation Process:
The certificate primarily requires Authentication by respective State
Education Department with the seal and signature of the officer attesting the
document. After verifying the content of the certificate from the state
authority the certificate needs attestation from Ministry of External Affairs
(MEA), New Delhi. MEA attests the documents on the basis of seal and signature
of the state authority and is not responsible for the content of the
certificates. After attestation from MEA, the certificate is sent to The
Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, New Delhi for the final legalization
of the documents to be used in UAE.
Non-Educational Certificate Attestation
Process:
The process for Non-Educational Certificates is same as of Educational
Certificate. The only difference is that the primary attestation has to be done
from respective State Home Department (GAD/SDM). The following procedure will
remain same.
Commercial Document Attestation Process:
The process for Commercial Documents is same as of Educational and
Non-Educational Certificates the only difference is again of primary attesting
authority. In case of Commercial document Attestation, the primary attestation
has to be obtained from the respective Chamber of Commerce.

After attestation from MEA, the document is sent to the cultural attaché of Saudi
Embassy, New Delhi for Saudi Culture Attestation and the proceeds to The
Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, New Delhi for the final legalization of the
documents.
Non-Educational Certificate Attestation
Process:
The process for Non-Educational documents is similar to that of
Educational documents. The only difference being is that of primary attestation
from Indian state authorities and of the cultural attestation. The primary or
the initial attestation of Non-Educational Documents has to be obtained from
respective State Home Department (GAD/SDM) and Non-Educational documents do not
need Cultural Attestation. The following procedure of Attestation from MEA and
Embassy will remain same.
Commercial Document Attestation Process:
The process for Commercial
Documents is similar to that of Non-Educational Certificates the only
difference is again of initial state attesting authority. In case of Commercial
document Attestation, the initial attestation has to be done by the respective
Chamber of Commerce.
